Sounds like a wonderful holiday weekend :o)Love the colors of this map Jennifer. The blues with hints of pale yellow are so lovely..
Always enjoy seeing your maps. Makes you a bit of a geography expert, no?
Hi Alicia-- Thanks! And yes it was lovely-- the first time I felt truly relaxed in a while...yay! (The gorgeous sunny weather helped, too. :-)And thanks, Tom. Hmmm... well, I guess I am pretty good at geography! Not sure about an expert, though. ;-)
Hi Jennifer....wonderful map...I just love your maps...hope you had a lovely long weekend and I hope you don't have any poison ivy issues....have a wonderful night....
Hi Diana- Many thanks! So far I've only got a spot of it on one hand. I'm getting paranoid though, and keep thinking it's itching in other spots, since I was pulling it out from a nasty corner of the yard. Oh well, it was worth it to be outside. :-)
a spa map......oh how i'd love to go there!!! i AM covered in poison ivy and a rash from an allergic reaction to mineral oil in sunscreen (i forgot to read the label). throw a sinus cold and congested chest in and i am one yucky person right now. but i really don't feel that bad, i've been painting like a fiend!! glad you relaxed this weekend!
Christine-- Me too! I'm glad you are painting through the cold and poison ivy-- amazing how much misery you can tune out when you're focused.Hey-- try the hairdryer tip for the ivy... it really helps!
OMG, WHAT'S THE HAIRDRYER TIP??? i am so itchy i'll try anything!! :)
Oh you poor thing-- I thought you saw it! Here, rather than rewriting:http://art-words-life.blogspot.com/2008/05/monday-map-garden-in-round.html Let me know how it works! :-)
