Thanks, Jess! Hmmm... I guess he is a "he," now that I think about it.

And thanks, Frank-- well, maybe it's predictable, I don't know! I wanted to have fun with that "when pigs fly" cliché.

loving the happy frying piggie Jen.

It is not predictable. At least to me, maybe I am slow. I did not realize he was going to fly until #5 or 6 and now that he is flying I have no clue what #8 and 9 will be.

Thanks, Mayy!

And Frank-- I'm glad it's not predictable. I think I've just been looking at it too long. (You, slow?? I think not!)

Thanks, Diana!

I loved this at the SCBWI conference. I thought it was very smart of you to show a story in sequence!

so sweet, this little pig is adorable! can't wait to see all the completed illustrations, you should post them all together once finished!

Thanks, Christine! That's what I'm planning...

I think for a child it is "perfectly predictable"! Although they like the element of surprise, they also want to be able to guess just what the surprise will be. Well done and fun too.

Thanks, Gail! It is hard to gauge sometimes what is too predictable for kids, especially coming at it from an adult point of view...
