I must be on a type kick lately. Very cool the way it's used in this video-- easy to sing along whether you speak Spanish or not. (The title means I don't know what to do with myself anymore. Hmmm... ever have days like that?) The band is from Uruguay.
This afternoon I'm off to the New England SCBWI conference in New Hampshire! They're having a lot of great workshops and speakers this year-- I'll post about it next week.
Está buenísimo Jennifer!! I can tell the people that made this must of had so much fun.
Oh, you have fun too at the conference!! How great, I wish I could go too. There are no conferences whatsoever close by. I have to air travel to get one. :o(
Enjoy Jennifer, and tell us everything when you come back :o)
One of the neater videos I have seen in a while. Would love to know the translation. Appears to be about either worldly or local commercialization or environmental issues. At least that is what I get from the graphics!
Enjoy the conference. Will have to check on the ones here in the south!
Tom-- Well, roughly it's about a guy who tries all sorts of things yet remains the same, so he doesn't know what to do with himself anymore. It would be a long translation-- it's got a lot of stuff in it! Oh and yes, check out the conferences, they are well worth it.
And thanks, Eric!
Alicia-- Juanes... por supuesto que sí! Lo he escuchado desde hace años y lo adoro. Mi hija tambien. Cuando era pequeña se lo escuchaba y cantó las palabras sin saber el sentido. :-)
¿Conoces a Ozomatli o Soda Stereo? Estoy enamorado de la voz de Gustavo Cerati. ;-) Voy a buscar a Bacilos...
He, he how cute that you daughter used to listen to Juanes and sing! I just love his music and he is such a hottie too ;o)
Yes, look for Bacilos. I have a feeling you'll like it. Soda Stereo of course! "El temblor" was one of the songs I would listen over and over again :o)
