Manic Monday!

No map today. My sense of time is all thrown off by the snow we got over the weekend. It was beautiful! But now it's time to play catch up with holiday preparations that didn't get done, on account of shoveling all that snow.

Of course, nothing stops our pet deer from coming around...

Yum, venison steak for Christmas dinner... just kidding.

Don't get crazy with preparations. Remember to stop and enjoy some of the holiday. Love

Thanks, Ali! Stay cool! ;-D

Haha Sue-- You sound like the guy who knocked on our door a few weeks ago wanting to hunt them. Uh... no!!!

We're actually keeping it pretty low key this year, which is nice. You have a wonderful one, too!

word verification: twortic
sounds mildly insulting..........

How idyllic! Your backyard looks like mine (except we are too suburban for deer - having to settle for various rodents). We've been snowed out of school since last Wednesday. Don't even *own* a snow shovel (and my garden shovel isn't really up to the job). Silly, silly Seattle...

They are, Elizabeth. Despite the fact that they eat EVERYTHING. Hey, I think word verification has a thing for you, haha! ;-)

Tara-- Wow, Wednesday-- the kids must love that! I'd say relax, pour some egg nog and wait for it to melt. (Oh and we have lots of rodents too, believe me!)

What a winter wonderland! I left this on my screen this morning for a long time, just to be able to enjoy a bit of winter.
I can't believe some jerk wanted to hunt them.

Merry Christmas to the whole family Jennifer.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Frank! Re: the hunter-- he's not the first to ask. This one was particularly kooky, too. Scary! (And same to you all!) :-)

Thanks, Barbara! Have a great holiday!
