Watching a video on a computer of a video of a TV broadcast video of a crackling fire... how surreal is that?
I may pop in between now and the New Year, or maybe not, but I wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays! May they be safe, warm, and real. (Or surreal, if you prefer!)
ahhhhhh, warm and toasty! Have a great holiday yourself Jennifer! Love the pics of the deer in the snow. Wish we had snow. Looks like we are going from temps in the teens to temps in the 40's and rain on xmas. bummer. Hope santa is good to you all!
We received a video a few year's ago of the Yule Log. Remember the Yule Log? I think it was on channel 9 or 11 in the NYC area. A video loop of a fireplace, burning warmly with Christmas music which ran all day Christmas. (David said it was for all the families that didn't have a real fireplace.) Well there's a DVD out now. It's a 2 hour loop I think. Pretty funny.
Wishing you good kitschy gifts, and a yule log in your TV. Love you kid. God bless us everyone.
Thanks, Christine, and you too! Your little one must be SO excited! :-)
All the same to you, Diana!
Sue-- We must have crossed the ether path-- I was just visiting your blog. This is the WPIX log, I think. Two hours worth?? Too funny!! (And personally I'm hoping for a chia pet, but we'll see.) Love to you too (and a new bottle of ketchup, perhaps?) my good friend. ;-)
