Woke up this morning to temperatures in the 50's and crystal clear sunshine. Beautiful! But it feels like September already.
I overheard a guy in the garden center saying that as far as he's concerned, June is the new July, August is the new September, etc. Judging from the weather we've had this summer, I'd say he's correct.
Ah well, my head is in September anyway, as the kids go back to school a week from today. Where did the summer go?

I know Jen.. it seemed to pass so quickly.
In Venezuela there are son seasons but still I find that were I'm staying the summer flew by so fast. Maybe is because I'm having such a great time.. :o)

It's feeling a lot like that in Missouri, too! Not normal for August, that's for sure! Normally it's the hottest month.
I like your sketch! Look forward to seeing it finished! Hope you'll share when you finish it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, btw!
really, where did the summer go? I don't know about all of you, but here in New England, it was a pretty cool and WET few months. Here's to a sunnier fall! =)
I guess it's universal-- summer goes fast all around.
I'll post the finish of this shortly. Been on a sketching kick lately... wish I was as quick at doing the finals...
Thanks for visiting, everyone! :-)
