What's Your IQ?

Your color IQ, that is. This link was posted on an illustrator's list that I follow. Challenging, no?

Oh cool-- I scored a 15! My eyes aren't as old and moldy as they feel some days! :-D

Oh this way too fun!!! I scored a 4.. but now I'm officially blind! hahaha I am typing and cannot see the screen at all. I think the black background is way to harsh on the eyes for this test.

I loved doing this Jen! Where do you find this things? :o)

Jennifer Thermes said...

Whoa, a 4 is excellent!! (But you're younger than me, haha!) I found the background kind of harsh, too, or maybe it's looking at colors on a monitor that's difficult. Good exercise, though! I just find these things while browsing around-- really don't spend much time looking for them. :-)

ok, i scored a 16, but it's 1;45 am, i'm really tired and i'm on my laptop with an LCD screen. i'm going to do this again on my other computer with an actual monitor when my eyes are more rested and contacts not so dry.....but very very cool!! yeah i agree the background was harsh.

Sheesh woman, what are you doing up so late?! ;-)

I think a 16 is pretty good, actually. It's interesting to click on the link that shows how you did compared with others in your age group, too.

ha, well i was working on a flash animation for a client that has to be done today as i am heading out of town for the weekend.

yeah 16 wasn't bad, but now i'm jealous of alicia's score ;) and i'm a perfectionist, so i have to try again!

Jen, Lol! well I don't know about young.. I keep forgetting my age, sometimes I think I'm 41 other times 42.. I think I'm so in denial that my mind just blocks it. I actually have to count from my birth year in order to remember. Can you believe that?!
If this is now imagine what it will be like in 10 or 15 years.. I hope i remember my name by then ;o)

Hee.. hee, Christine, you are funny ;o)
I really love color and those kind of tests. I remember one time I went to EPCOT they had a computer game where you had to match a given color while turning the knobs for the magenta, cyan and yellow colors. I got so hooked on that, that little kids were giving me looks because I wouldn't give them a chance to play. I get carried away sometimes :o)

Oh blimey, I got 47...shall I give up painting?

Jennifer Thermes said...

Aw no, Gretel!! I'm not totally convinced a better score means you're better with colors in actual work. It's just fun as an exercise. Don't you dare stop!!! ;-)

Like I didn't have better things I should be doing. Well, no. Maybe it was a good exercise to brush up on. Anyway, I'm feeling pretty proud 'cuz I got a 4 too!
