Sketch-In-Progress

Here's a cleaned-up sketch for an idea I've had in mind.

The beginnings snuck (sneaked?) in through the side door. Then there were more sketchy-doodle musings.

This time around, I scanned the bits and pieces into Photoshop, in order to play around with the shapes and sizes and design.

And then redrew some more, and listened to some surprising, inspiring music, and made lots of scribbly notes.

I've got a few projects going on right now so the finished art will get done in the in-between time. It's good to work on a few different things at once... keeps the mind brewing.

Your sketches are so precious Jen. They have this old feeling to them.. sort of like going to your grandma's attic and finding a beautiful antique chest with lovely things inside. That's how feel whenever I see your sketches. :o)

The sketches are wonderful. It's fun to see things in the different stages. I've always wished I could draw, but it is not my gift.
