One Definition of Irony

Irony is working on garden map illustrations in this bitter cold weather. Good news: it's supposed to warm up to the 40's this weekend.

I must have a word with my assistant. She's shedding on the watercolors.

How even more wonderful than usual
the pondering of flowers
as we freeze

tell your assistant she will soon be able to play outside more.........

My kitties shed on my oil paintings sometimes... annoying!! Your maps look lovely... and I am sure your outdoor weather looks the same as ours! Snowy, Grey, and yucky!

I'm sure my assistant thinks of escaping into the great outdoors, but alas, she's an indoor kitty. :-)

Candace-- Yes, snowy and cold here too! But little by little the days are getting longer...

Love your assistant's name! Beautiful garden maps. I'm already transported to these gardens...

The maps look so delicate! I just love gardens and having just returned from a visit home to Brazil I had the chance to enjoy a little bit of warm weather for a while :-)

And I love your assistant!
